The 2019 National Symposium will take place in Honolulu on the island of Oahu. The Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) is serviced by international airlines with direct flights from as far away as New York and Boston.

Getting Around/Ride Sharing

Docomomo US is pleased to be partnering with LYFT for the 2019 Symposium. Existing Lyft Riders receive 20% off discount (code: DOCOMOMO) or New Lyft Riders receive up to $20 in ride credits (code: DOCOMOMO20). Discounts are valid for September 23rd through the 30th.

Public transportation is available throughout the Honolulu area.

Hotel Accommodations

Waikiki is the historic home to the majority of Oahu's hotels and resorts. Famous for its beaches, every hotel room is just two or three blocks away from the ocean (if it’s not directly on the beach). With so many rich and historic examples, Docomomo US is offering discounts to a variety of hotels during the Symposium week.
