We’re dedicating the July special edition newsletter to articles addressing the Docomomo US 2024 theme of Corporate Campuses. We invite article proposals that seek to explore and understand the influence of suburban corporate architecture and corporate campuses on the edge of more urban cores, their peaks, and now their valleys. Potential starting points include: the post-war development zeitgeist, and the critical role of graphic design, furnishings, and art in brand identity; trailblazing preservation efforts that have reestablished significant sites; adaptive reuse versus demolition of existing campuses and the effect on climate change.
Proposals should be received by April 1, 2024. If your article is accepted, materials are due by May 24, 2024. See below for article submission instructions.
