Michele Racioppi is the Program and Communication Manager for Docomomo US. Prior to joining the team in January of 2019, she worked at the New Jersey Historic Trust as a Historic Preservation Specialist, where her responsibilities included managing capital, planning, and heritage tourism grants, organizing the annual statewide conference, and communications. She also moonlighted as the Communications Coordinator for Docomomo US/NY Tri-State, putting together their monthly newsletter. Ms. Racioppi received her MA in Cultural Heritage and Preservation from Rutgers University, where she wrote a paper about Bell Labs and from that point on was hooked. In her spare time, she chairs the local Historical Commission and writes grants to save the National Historic Landmark camp she attended as a child, Eagle Island.
