Salt Lake Modern invites you to tour the Westshire subdivision featuring the design of architect Ron Molen. Not wanting to design the typical subdivision, Molen sought to create a stimulating place for raising families with a modern appearance that would be competitive in the housing market. Built in the early 1960s, the homes in Westshire often feature a sunken pit with benches focused around the hearth, giving the family an intimate gathering space. Beyond design, the current neighbors have formed a tight-knit community in celebration of Molen’s original vision.
