Modern Architects' Houses: 1960s-1970s

Image details

Our exploration of modern houses continues with houses that three remarkable modern architects designed for themselves: the Haid House (1968) and the Larson House (1978) in Evanston; and the Netsch House (1974) in Lincoln Park.

Accessibility note: because the Netsch House contains multiple floor levels and many staircases without handrails, this tour is not recommended for visitors who have difficulty climbing stairs or standing for lengths of time.

This bus tour begins and ends at the Royal Sonesta Hotel.
