Join Docomomo US/WEWA and Capitol Hill Historical Society for a closer look at Capitol Hill Modern, an extensive historical survey of Midcentury Modern multi-family buildings on Capitol Hill presented by historian Tom Heuser and photographer Lana Blinderman.

Their presentation (via Zoom) will share some of the historical circumstances within which midcentury architecture emerged and changed over time in the neighborhood, the methodology for the research and photography, photographs of some of the more noteworthy buildings encountered, and other highlights and surprises discovered along the way.

The presentation will last about 40 minutes followed by a 10 minute Q&A.
