Aloha!
Docomomo US/Hawaii would like to ask for your help in raising funds to save these five labor murals by Ceramics Hawaii.

UPDATE:
We have raised over $41,000 of our goal of $50,000!
The donation will close on 12/20/2017 in order for us to acknowledge your year-end charitable contributions. We sincerely appreciate your help and support in meeting out goal for this worthy cause.

The Center for Labor Education and Research (CLEAR) and Docomomo Hawaii together have raised approximately $35,000 towards our goal of $50,000 that we will need for the installation of these murals in their new CLEAR home, at the UH West Oahu Campus. Our deadline for installation is December 31, 2017.

Designed by the late Isami Enomoto of Ceramics Hawaii, these mid-century murals featuring Hawaii workers were in danger of being lost forever, when the Bank of Hawaii @ Kapahulu closed its doors two years ago. Since then, we’ve been working hard to make sure these murals will continue to be shared with the people of Hawaii.

We ask for your help in raising the necessary funds for the re-installation and dedication of these five Ceramics Hawaii murals at the Center for Labor Education and Research. Donate to the Labor Murals Fund TODAY to help protect and preserve this important part of Hawaii’s history, art, and culture. For details, please read about the background and Docomomo Hawaii's efforts to save these murals, to date.

Gifts of $250 and above will be recognized on a donor plaque installed with the murals. The amount of your gift is fully tax deductible.
